Candidates seeking admission to the two-year MBA / PGDBM (Session 2009 - 2011), autonomous programme associated with Punjab Technical University at INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES (IIMS) are required to go through a rigorous admission procedure which ensures selection of the right types of candidates. The following procedure is adopted

ELIGIBILITY:

An applicant should have a minimum of three-year Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline recognized by the AIU/UGC. Candidates appearing for the final examination within June 2007 for the Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 30th Aug. 2009

FEES: Rs. 2,05,000/- for 2 yrs. (to be paid in four installments)

SELECTION:

All applicants have to pass through a two tier system of screening comprising of
* Written test - For admission to IIMS one has to appear in MAT or in any other All India Management test such as CAT /XAT / AIMS or any other State level conducted Management entrance examination. Each prospect has to also apply separately to the Institute for which Prospectus and Application Form are to be obtained from the IIMS campus.

Candidates who have applied for admission to IIMS will be short listed on the basis of certain cut off of their MAT or any other Management test score. The short listed candidates will be called for Personal Interviews for final selection.

The Second phase of selection procedure involves participation in Personal Interview before a selection committee. The final selection will be made on the basis of academic performance and personal interview and work experience if any.

The Deposits will be refunded to the student by Demand Draft after he or she has left the Institute, and it is verified that no dues are standing against his or her name. Fees once paid are not refundable
